Job Specification:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Managing office equipment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable working environment
  • Handling external or internal communication or management systems
  • Supervising clerical or other administrative staff
  • Relationship management with preferred suppliers
  • Maintaining general offices files (hard copies and electronic)
  • Purchasing office supplies, equipment and furniture
  • Organising Company travel and accommodation requirements
  • Collecting, processing and distributing incoming mail as well as composing and sending correspondence for employees
  • Handling of complaints, maintenance requests and other concerns relating to the office facilities
  • Drafting, formatting and printing relevant documents
  • Maintain stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
  • Arranging internal and external events
  • Collaborating with on-site maintenance team and external contractors to ensure that the property and all of its facilities are in neat, working order 

 

Minimum Requirements

The following minimum requirements are a prerequisite for applying for this vacancy:

  • Matric exemption
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
  • 2 or more year’s proven experience as an office administrator
